Work Zone Awareness

Our employees work hard to ensure safe, reliable, and affordable electricity for our members.  Those who work outdoors often are working in safety sensitive situations and environments.  Vehicles traveling at high speeds through these work zones pose an even greater danger than the task at hand.

When you encounter a work zone: slow down, follow signs, and be alert.  If you are able, move over one entire lane to give people working on the side of the road the space they need to do their job safely.
