More than 90 years ago, rural electric cooperatives were born from political action championed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. While the issues facing our communities have evolved, our mission remains the same: advocating for the members we serve across rural Southeast Minnesota.
We invite you to join us in October for one of two legislative forums focused on two important issues facing Minnesotans—affordability and economic competitiveness. Candidates for the Minnesota House of Representatives and Minnesota Senate have been invited to learn more about how these issues affect People’s Energy Cooperative and the communities we serve. We look forward to sharing our perspective and hearing theirs as well.
